Default body off

Im removing the body 0n my 67 gto. can i take the body off without the doors and trunk lid then put it on a cart or leave it all on. someone said it would be to much of a stress on the body without the doors. anyone know- can you help me out which is best and correct. thanks

Hardtop or sedan, absolutely not a problem without doors on a cart or rotisserie. A convertible on a cart, supported at each end of the rockers and in the gas tank region, would be fine. I'm assuming this is not a rust bucket/basket case scenario.

i pulled mine off with the doors,windows deck lid full interior.72 lemans though.One thing that helped me was using just 14inch rims with no tires so i didnt have to lift the body really high.

I did my 71 gp without doors, glass and trunk lid.....used the wheels with no tires trick also and it worked very well!

i have taken the two bolts out from under the firewall-under the door-behind the rear tire and at the rear. i see another one in front of the rear tire. i see a bushing but theres no bolt head to undo. looked inside of car and didnt see a nut. am i missing something here. Ive took out 5 bushing bolts on the drivers side. how many are there on a 67 gto. just wanting to know. Thanks
