does anyone know the gauge of the body sheetmetal of a 60 Bonneville convert?

18 is pretty heavy. I think 19 or 20 is more likely. If you are buying sheet stock try to find AK steel. It is much more easily formed. Sometimes hard to find. It is made for deep drawing panels. Much easier to shrink and stretch. Billk
