NEW 64 all steel reproduction hood
Todd at Todd's gto's is selling what looks to be a very high quality 64 all steel reproduction hood for GTO.
Been waiting for this for a long time. It will be a few weeks before I have it. I will post my opinion of the product here when I get it and look it over. I am stoked. You 64 guys know how hard it is to find a GTO hood for a 64. Not trying to advertise here, just want guys to know the long wait is over. Price was kinda salty, ( 1250 ) but still much less than I have seen OE hoods go for.And most of them needed LOTS of work. I anticipate that Ames will have them in stock soon so watch for them. |

I have ordered one as well - and should receive it pretty soon (next week?). I am happy to provide a review as well. Is there anything that people are interested in seeing?

Hood arrived this afternoon. I only had time to stash it in a safe spot in the garage Behind the backhoe and a few carefully parked mowers.
I am going to open it up on saturday to inspect it and install it. It is packed VERY WELL. Box is huge and plenty of room for padding/bubblewrap or whatever they used. I would bet it has 30 pounds of packing material. I am fine with that. More info coming soon |

Opened mine up. It was a box inside a bigger box. Packaging was phenominal
The hood is excellent quality. Made from a decent gauge metal (heavy) at least as heavy as the original, and I would bet it is a bit thicker. Clean stamping and excellent welds . Totally worth the money.AND it looks like an OE hood. Very nice piece. I havent put it on the car yet, i will get to it tomorrow. I will post more when I can. I am hoping I can post some pics. |

Lemans 64...
It will still be worth it. When you see the quality, you will know. Look at what some of the used ones have been going for.... |

I deal with junk aftermarket parts all day, this hood looks pretty nice from your pics, definitely very workable. And considering the alternative.. a rotted out p.o.s. for nearly double at times, I'd say you did good! Congrats!
