Default My 69 Judge

Bought this car about 4 or 5 years ago but don't recall if I posted pics at the time.

11,000 original mile car, ordered new as a drag car with manual steering and brakes but also power windows and an 8 track, odd car.

I repainted it the original color, interior is 100% original down to the rug (except for the woodwheel I added. Despite the drag history it still has its born with drivetrain (RA3, M21, 4.33 STT).

I'm a lousy photographer but this pic came out nice by accident...

Car still had some original paint but the OO had cut the rear wheel opening lips to clear slicks and the partial repaints were poor quality so we did a complete outer reshoot, however the door, hood and trunk jams etc are still original paint. similarly the undercarriage still has factory floor paint and factory overspray.

I've known a few other drag purpose cars with power windows.
You could roll all the windows down before or after a pass from drivers seat.
And get them all back up before doing burn out .

Convenience deal
Not sure what the weight factor difference would be.

Super great car North
Congrats on the ownership.

I’ll let you know, I’m installing power windows this winter in a friends 69. I’ll weigh the whole caboodle and then I’ll weigh everything I remove. All the wiring weighs a few pounds and then four motors are pretty heavy.

that is real neat alternator bracket, I thought it was a 2 piece one in 69. I also like that wire tube thing for alternator wires. Is any of those two parts a pontiac part purchasable?

Alternator bracket is specific to manual steering applications. The tube for the wires is , iirc, factory in 69 but I’m not 100% sure as I’m away in vacation.

The tube is plastic.

Btw, interesting tidbit. The manual steering RA cars don’t have the positive battery cable club on the wheel tub like the RA cars with PS have.
