Talking Friday Post

Yes I'm back to bore you with the Friday Post Raining and cold here BLAHHH and I was going to freshen up my engine compartment today for a fall show this Sunday. I do have heat in my garage but don't want to turn it on yet. or maybe I'll just put it on to take the chill off then turn it off. Hmmmmm that's an idea My luck it will still be raining on Sunday and I'll miss the show anyway LOL. Well hope everyone has a great fall weekend whatever you're doing. The leaves are starting to change here so cruising and taking cool pictures of the cars with the fall colors is an annual thing for me. I have more pictures of my cars than my kids in my wallet LOL.

Is that a bad thing?

Safe motering everyone

Mornin' MA.
I hope to get the GTO out for a little spin this evening. It's been parked about 2 weeks now.
My Saturday morning is going to be spent trying to figure out what this semi repaired arm is capable of in the front yard. Saturday afternoon is going to be spent watching my oldest son march with his college band at JSU's football game up in Jacksonville, Alabama.

What else - paint the garage.

I do have a meeting with a new client Saturday at 1:00. Could be a huge account.

Tonight we're going to see Gravity in Imax.

Mrs. Engine-Ear and I met with a new bank to transfer our business account and shortly we are meeting with the a local website developer to discuss how their "creative genius" can help expand the reach of the RediRad. Beginning in '14, we are going to make a big push with the RR-FM version in the RV, pleasure boat, motorcycle and late-model daily driver markets.

Tonight I have a sheepshead (http://www.sheepshead.org/) game with the usual crew...this is a true indication of autumn!

Tomorrow I am cutting apart a Catalina parts car with a friend, then later the YF and I are going to a concert and out for supper.

Sunday is more garage time...getting ready for the arrival of lifts, insulation, walls and electricity!

Should be interesting - as always - to see the advertised "creme puffs" that prove to be little more than POS's...and those surprise bargains that are legit.

The MECUM auctions I've attended always the St. Charles based Fastlane peeps are selling and buying, some pretty nice Ponchos included.

Enjoy!

Enjoy that David. I remember the days my Kids were in the band on the Football field on a crisp Fall Day. They grow up so fast!

YMCA Adventure Guides (Indian Princesses) campout this weekend. It's a blast for the kids. Scavenger hunt, camp activities, songs around the bonfire, pumpkin caving, tired dads, etc.

Went full retard on my spare OHC and finally have it disassembled. Medical bills have wiped my account out again so no shop crane for me. I tried every Egyptian way I could come up with trying to get the motor on the engine stand but no go as it was getting scary. Pulled the oil fill tube, rolled it over on top of a furniture dolly and took it all apart. I did find out that after I removed the crank I was bale to pick up the rest and get it onto the engine stand by hand.

Been working on homework tonight, watching metal mania, and getting ready to go to bed. Ozzy sure can sing!
