NEED HELP WITH TUNE UP, BRACKET RACE A 60 OVER 400, 488LIFT/320 DUR CAM 750DB/TORKER MANIFOLD WITH MSD6AL BOX, CAR STILL NOT CONSISTANT, PICKS UP BIG TIME WHEN TEMP DROPS RAN 7.80 IN 90DEGREE TEMPTHEN RAN 7.40 IN 78DEGREE TEMP LATER IN THE RACE, CAR RUNS GOOD , NO STUMBLE, NO MISS , DRIVER NEVER MAKES A MISTAKE, CARB JETTED AT 78 ON ALL CORNERS,4.5 POWER VALVEIN FRONT PLUG IN BACK,AC 44 PLUGS TIMING AT 34DEGREE TOTAL, PLUGS WILL LOOK SOOTY AROUND THE EDGE,TIP WILL HAVE SOME COLOR (OFF WHITE). HARD TO WIN A BRACKET RACE IF YOUR NOT CONSISTANT, THANKS FOR ANY AND ALL HELP

From your performance results it sounds like you are running too rich. Also, if you have a power valve in the front, you should have bigger jets in the back than in the front. How did you arrive at your jetting? I would have started at about 72/76 and worked up from there. However, I live in different weather than you do.

HAVE TRIED DIFFERENT JET COMBOS FROM 82 TO 70 WITH NO LUCK HAVE TRIED DIFFERENT POWER VALVES AND POWER VALVE PLUGS , NOTHING HAS WORKED YET HERE IN THE CAROLINAS WE DEAL WITH A 20DEGREE WEATHER CHANGE ON A NORMAL RACE EVENING, MAKES IT RUFF , LIVED IN FLA FOR 20YEARS ONLY HAD A 5 DEGREE DIFFERENCE , THANKS FOR THE HELP WILL TRY
