Default Get to cross one off my bucket list today

Well I just picked up a set of #614 heads tonight. I know some guys here are into rarer stuff but for a 23 year old getting a set of IV's is pretty damn cool.

They've been ported and have REV valves in them.

Now I've got to save up for an IA block and a forged crank and I'll be able to put together a great motor for my "Judge!"

Nate

I actually remember my first set of round port heads! Drove to Baltimore to get a set of II's in 1988.

I was about your age then too, congratulations on the IV's!

Very cool, i was 19 when i bought my 69 Judge that i still own, nice score on the heads, the closest ive had to anything round port has been a set of Edelbrocks. And you have a very nice Judge yourself, gonna be killer with that new setup, good luck with it.

Nice purchase! I bought my 722 heads 20 yrs ago when I was 25. It took me until last year to finally use them. Hopefully you will use yours a lot sooner.

Nice score.
I was 18 in '78 when I picked up a virgin RA-V block for $250, the heads and intake have been elusive to me ever since.
Got 48's on it, a nice set of IV's would be almost as good as V's... almost.

$1000 bucks a piece. I feel that for what they are it was a fair price to buyer and seller.

When I bought my Judge I got to cross that off my list also. It's kinda neat as the Judge I bought is the exact one that started my bucket list.

I bet that '69 is stunning in red! But I wouldn't have my Judge any other color.

Nate

LOOKS like the one that got away from my brothers & I. Sounding & looking real good.

my 1st set of iron roundports (197's) was early 90's; basically gave them away ( intentionally) because i made double the investment on the HO I/E Manifolds & 73 SD carb!!

My ownership set of Iron Roundports (R 96 A IIs) started in 2008, Running in 2009. Before all that was 48's for the long haul. LIKE. Think you will too.
