will wheel adaptor cause front tire to rub
I have a 70 GTO stock suspension.
I am looking at buying a set of Cragar 15" Mach 8 rims (they are hard to come by) The backspace on the rims is 4.5" they were on a 70's Dodge van The GTO is 4.75 so it appears an adaptor is the only way The adaptor will push the wheel out 1" the back has air shocks jacked up it is the front that is my concern I used a 1" adaptor on a catalina to convert Rally II to work the tires rubbed can a machine shop drill out the rims or is it to risky and expensive If some one knows of a thinner adapter please let me know |
