Default Cleaning aluminum heads

I picked up a set of used Edelbrock d-port heads. Was looking for an easy way to clean them and found a fairly trouble free and cheap way, Simple Green heavy duty cleaner did the trick. I had a plastic tub that a head fit in perfectly and just let it soak for 2 days (did leave it on the dry so as laundry was being done it got a good mixing), 5 min with a wire brush and rinsed off and done. Not sure if you guys have an easier way but this worked out great for me.
