Even the dog we had at the time refused to lay on it and he would lay on all kinds of smelly blankets we pulled out of junk cars and he would roll in poop, etc. He gave it a sniff and walked the other way...

I gotta stay out of the Turkey woods and keep up with this crowd! Nice addition to the herd Chris! Loved the burn-out fresh off the trailer - that's the way to treat a HO!

Can't beat that color with the blue strip either. Congrats.

Cool piece Chris! I have always loved the white with a blue stripe. I think one of the road tests was like that.Hope you make it to Stanton,it is one hell of a good time with the absolute best people in the car hobby. You will fit right in! Good luck with it.

very nice. I remember seeing pics of that car before.

I look forward to seeing it run at Stanton and meeting you. I'll be there with my red one. and if things work out, it may have more gear in it. we'll see. I'm beyond swamped with stuff right now and not sure when it's going to let up.

Is POCI a possibility for you? I'm already registered and plan to have the car there.

Chris, get out there and do a REAL burn off in that thing. Tach it up to a good 5K and hold it about 10 seconds then roast half the tires up the street.

I want to see video of this within half an hour.

Yeah Chris, do you want me to die before you learn how to do a proper burn off?

You gotta do it now Chris!!! Roast 'em Baby! Set the video to a great Springsteen song - it'll be epic.

I just texted Chris to see if he was out working on the new and improved burn off; his reply was "bite me".

I don't understand that northern talk; what does his message mean?

It means exactly what it says!

Goatless was just here & we burned through a nice little 18 pack. It's crazy windy here and 38 degrees. The car is tucked away, nice & warm - I'll take it out tomorrow & start sorting through it, possibly another video. I don't want to embarrass myself again with it chocking and stalling on me.

BTW, get it right Okey - it's a Burn-Out, not a Burn off!

How about you blowing off that Corvette show and flying up to Stanton to drive your car?

I'll send you the plane ticket - does that get it done???

We had a hard freeze last night, was 25 here at 6:30 when I let the dogs out, up to 41 now.

I got a comment from one of the neighbors last night when we were walking the dogs after dinner about the tire marks - he didn't share the same admiration for them that I did.
