Default Blown 4

Remember this being posted in several different threads?
Guess it’s about done being rebuilt. Here’s a pic and a post from the new owner. Also a photo of the car it originally came from. The sellers father, Ron Benham ran the car at Bonneville in 1963. The Baby Whale.

Oswald Mcgillycuddy

“Supposedly Fritz built it. M/T Pontiac Tempest 4cyl with chain driven 471 blower. Scott single throat injector with early EELCO fuel shutoff attached to the injector, Tom Beatty snout. Aluminum rods and pistons. Head o-ringed. Harland Sharp rockers. Roller cam and lifters. Wico magneto. (2) early Thompson water fills same as run on the Challenger land speed car with 4 Pontiac engines. Clutch turbo type Trans with clutch and pressure plate. Looks like it was run in a dragster at one time.”

Appears to be Underdriven.
Seems to me it has a smaller rotor sweep than a 6-71/8-71, so i would pine for 1:1 drive.
But that is a real interesting assembly, and would be so cool running in a vehicle.
