Well, since you are involved, should we break it up in classes? Fast brackets, slow brackets---fast heads up, slow heads up---multi-year head gasket use, new head gaskets yearly---Over 3000lbs, under 3000lbs???

Set some perimeters so we dont upset you.

The main bass line plus has got to be the need for less rpm and the reduction in loading by twice that at any given rpm .

Some race cars can't go 10 passes in a day, other car tune their cars down not to break.......its a lot more fun to race then to look at your car in the garage.
tuning down............Smaller cams (easier on the valve train)....less boost (easier on head gaskets and engine parts)

When you have carbs on a blower you are restricted on how much boost/over drive you can run.....fuel injection not so much! that why im thinking of changing.

All of the things you just pointed out is going to point to a turbo combo. Any seasoned racer should know that already.

Back in the old NSCA days, they kicked Turbos out of Pro Street because they said it wasn’t fair that they could sit and drink cold drinks between rounds, while everyone else was thrashing to get ready for the next round. I figured you’d already know this, since you are so superior in the field of racing.

Ok, so we break it up between carburetor, and fuel injection.

There are blow through carbs that have gone low 4s in the 1/8th what is the fastest roots with carbs that you’ve heard of?

1/4 is real racing, I only run the 1/8 because I have to.
It was really nice at Norwalk.

Well, we can make it 1/8th vs 1/4 mile...But, the turbos are even stronger on the big tracks, so yet again, you need to rethink this...

Be honest George...What heads up class would you fit into? And, keep in mind that heads up racers will step on their stuff in order to win...

Simple the Roots style blower wins for cosmetic appeal.

Turbo will be that fastest in the right hands.

Pro-charger style blowers have comparable bottom end of the Roots style blowers and add a bunch of weight in the wrong place.

A turbo car, turned down to make the same HP as you are making, will outlive your combo...It is easier on parts, plain and simple...

You really think that a crank driven blower isnt harder on parts than a turbocharged combo? Seriously?

How much power do you estimate it taking to run what you run?
