Default World's fastest tri-power

Well I think it is anyway. We almost got our 9 but not quite. We are done for the year maybe next year. Here is our fastest pass from a couple weeks agos
60ft 1.356
330ft 3.997
660ft 6.282
mph 107.06
1000ft 8.282
1320ft 10.005
mph 129.79

Not to bad for a hyd cam and tri-power, car weighs 3450lbs.

id be happy to get my tripower car in the 10s when finished.......i think at 10.005 now thou you will already be in the 9s.

WOW, almost 130mph and a 1.35-60'! Congratulations!! OK, so....is anyone faster than 11.70 and weigh MORE than 3860lbs with a Pontiac Tripower....and... rochester carbs and...iron heads,.pump gas? Give me something to shoot for. Post those Tripower times. -Jim

We have ran 131mph with a taller tire.

Our 1969 GrandPrix weighs about 4150lbs and runs 11.7s, with iron heads, pump gas, and of course tri-power. Pretty sure we can get 11.6s out of it. Both cars run Rochester carbs.

The cam in the GrandPrix is a hyd roller that is 242-252 @ .050 and compression about 10.25:1.
