I have A 70 and I'm pretty sure the location for the switches is embossed in it's location.Take off the door trim panel,I think you should see it.Randy

Sorry to dig up this old thread, but does anyone have a photo of the placement of the Power Door Lock switches on a 1970? I'm pretty sure they are up high and toward the dash right where the mylar strip makes a 90 degree turn.

Here is the placement on my red 70 convertible. I installed them myself 30+ years ago and I don't recall how I knew where to put them. There is no indication of position on origional or aftermarket panels, and I can't find anything in the Fisher Body Manual or the Assembly Manual.
Also, there were 4 screws in the bottom of each panel that held the panel to the door. Were they black to match the carpet or standard chrome trim screws? |
