The wording was different based on where the car was produced, but these were the features of the WW5 package:

34X 4 BBL 455 HO V8 Engine
35L Turbo Hydramatic or M22 4 SPD
434 RH & LH Body Color Mirrors
464 Formula Steering Wheel
481 Roof Drip Scalp Molding
502 Power Disc Brakes
524 Custom Carpets
601 Hood Air Inlet
634 Unitized Ignition
714 Rally Gauge Cluster & Tach
724 Handling Package
361 Safe-T-Track Diff

Price of the package varied a few $$$ based on whether it was a hardtop or coupe, auto or manual trans.

Good info, Mike - thanks for posting.

Also, another note on the pricing - the production date made a difference as well. Pre or post the date that the federal excise tax rules were changed.

Here are a couple of WW5 factory docs of interest.

Good eye, Bob.

Shift knob should be a large black plastic ball with the shift pattern in white.

Also note the tires. I kinda like the blackwall look, especially with the black steelies and doggy bowls, but ALL Y99 optioned GTOs were OEM equipped with white-lettered G60x15 Goodyear Polyglas GTs.

Fairly certain that it IS a WW5 car, since the auction ad clearly states that the option is shown on the PHS invoice.

Not to beat up on the car,but it has the wrong dash pad!!!!!! And to think I offered my car up for $40K recently and some people think it's too much. Well I say thank all of you for not buying it from me. I hope this seller gets what he/she want ( $75K-$100K ).I dont have a WW5 car,but have all but one option that a WW5 car has ( missing dual sport mirror's ).

The car was advertised a few years ago on Cars On Line.com. Car was in AZ. Previous owner said it needed paint and had aftermarket wheels but he had the original KR 15X7 Rally's. Things not correct about it was it had '71 HO heads instead of 7f6 heads. And the M22 trans was gone. Has a M21 in it now. Unless the current owner has made it more correct. It was sold for 32 grand at the time. Willing to spend considerably more than that for it.

I believe PY member Pat Brown bought a stash of NOS parts from the guy. Pat's moniker here is PB. You might send him a private message and see if he still has the Arizona owner's number.

Also, seems like I saw a very similar car for sale recently. So similar it made me wonder if it was the Arizona car. It must have been on PY because I am now so car rich that I am money poor, and don't frequent many car sale sites other than the occasional one that pops up on PY.

I dont have a 4spd. car and mine is not a WW5 car,but I do have the born with #'s matching 455 HO and Automatic. I have all the options a WW5 car would have come with except the dual sport mirror's. And I will sell it for the right money.

Where is BVZ at?

Any updates to this?

Mike, why this specific WW5?

Wasn't there one for sale earlier in the year?

Default ww5

It was a Arizona rust free car most of it's life. And it's a 4 spd. With a ww5 option. All that combined makes it pretty desirable. When it was for sale a few years ago on Cars on line .com it didn't have the vinyl side stripes. Looks better without it imo. Don't get me wrong if anyone knows of another WW5 Cardinal Red with Black bucket seats and with or without a Black Vinyl top in excellent original correct condition or restored to factory standards by all means let me know. My offer to the owner won't be insulting for the right car.
