Are most IHRA 1/8 mile tracks requiring a face shield for SA 2022 helmets running 6.50?

Don’t quote me but I think Nhra requires full
Face at that et
I know that’s not what you asked I used to love my old
Simpson open face

I use a full face helmet but i removed the shield.

Thanks gman005, I usually see videos of guys running with the shield up.

You only need the shield if you are in an open cockpit car. You need a full face helmet at 6.39. It don’t have to use the shield

I thought too it had to be full face. I miss my old open faced one.

I just want to know how the guys on Moror Trend Roadkill can run down the track in freaking shorts and flip flops even on a "private rental"!
