Default Advantage of Preset Discharge Switch for an Oil Accumulator?

Hey Everybody,

Looking to the future and considering whether I could install an accumulator and wondering what the are the advantages of having an electric valve that has a preset discharge Switch over utilizing the valve without a preset discharge Switch?

Thanks,
Craig

Only advantage is flipping a switch vs manually moving the valve. I think the manual valve flows better than an electric solenoid may matter may not
Prelube is nice but I think they really shine in braking/shut down applications, which means the valve is open already
Mine is plumbed behind the distributor and mounts to the bar going from the roll cage to the frame rail on the drivers side wasn’t enough room to mount on passenger side I don’t have fender wells soon can reach under and turn the valve through the fender

I thought that if you didn't have a pressure discharge switch - that it would pump too much oil into the engine at idle?
