Arrow 71 GTO Numbers Matching on ebaY

I thought I remembered seeing this one before, but might be wrong. Anyone have more info or thoughts?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1971-...QQcmdZViewItem

Looks like a solid project car.

Looks like a solid project car.

Appears to be well worth the buy it now. Solid worthwhile projects are getting harder to find not to mention being a solid GTO.

I liked this one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=180308309329

I was going to put some dog dishes on it, and drive it. 4-speed, early production, low optioned like my first car. But, I didn't pull trigger...

Default 8,500 too high............

nice car for a full resto project john, but not worth over 5K in my book. in a good market a few years ago I purchased a similarly equipped 72 for $7,500. but in much nicer shape I felt. ran well, had posi, more desirable color, but also had mint dash and bezel. someones going to have to pay 13,14 hundred to get that in order. then get a radio. still, always nice to find a matching complete car, or at least mostly. SLASH.

The first auction is the rarest color for 1971.

I should know better than to throw estimated value while auction is in progress.....my bad. is the color limelight?? coin flip to weather rare = desirable or even value for this car.

The first color was Rosewood, the second was one of the golds - Quetzal?

Limelight was a 1969 color.

"the first color was Rosewood, the second was one of the golds - Quetzal?" I was referring to 1st color as original posters sticky , gold one. I do agree the 4speed rosewood went for a bargain.

I don't see how a car in that condition could possibly be worth the buy it now price.
maybe in 2006 but not now.

Yes I believe they did. I have a black/black 71 4spd car that has no wheel option on the PHS and according to Eric White's book the poverty caps were the standard wheels that year.

Poverty caps were standard through 1973 and, presumably, 1974.

My 72 came with G60X15 tires and steel wheels with poverty caps. Lloyd Tex showed me a pic of that combo and I decided to pass on it.

Hes may be stuck with it now.

"Roll them dice", sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

Anyone look at this car? Underneath? Just wondering.

the 473.00 "profit" was just enough to move the car from n.y. to penn. !
