I don’t buy or sell too much on CL as compared to the past, because I’m in the middle of nowhere now. But if I wanted to scare someone off, I’d ask them to call! It gets old shooting emails and texts back and forth for hours when a 5 minute call would accomplish the same.

Interesting scenario in this thread with the apparent identical VIN on the engine for sale in NY. Question: Why is the last digit of the VIN on the engine out of alignment (7 is dropped below other numbers)? Aren't all of the VIN characters normally placed into a gang stamp and struck together? Seems odd
