Default '64 Grand Prix Passenger Fender and Door

Hello,

I'm looking for as clean as possible (little to no rust, no bondo, etc.) front passenger fender and passenger door for my 1964 Grand Prix. I'm restoring the car and the fender and doors received some minor damage with a prior owner in a fender bender. Rather than try to straighten the damage, I'm looking for a clean fender and door. For the door, I don't need any of the hardware, trim or glass...just the door shell would be fine.

I live near Phoenix, AZ so hopefully somewhere within reasonable driving distance to pick up the parts or make shipping as inexpensive as possible. I will pay cash if I can meet in person.

Thank you!

Not close, but go to Milwaukee craigslist, search auto parts, Pontiac 1964. 64 GP parts for sale.....supposedly 2 "rust free ?" doors for sale (make offer).

I'm still searching for a '64 Pontiac Grand Prix passenger front fender in good shape. I've expanded my search and would be willing to pay for shipping for a good one, even if it's far away from AZ. Please let me know if you have one or know of one. Thank you!

Thank you, Bob. I've already tried them. They don't have a '64 Grand Prix in stock. Most places seem to have Catalinas or mostly Bonnevilles. I may end up with a Catalina fender and modifying it if I can't find one.

The fenders themselves are the same...they will bolt right on. The difference is in the trim and emblems. The Bonnevilles, which are most of the fenders I've found so far, have several more holes for trim and the emblems are in a different place than the Grand Prix. I want to avoid filling a dozen holes in the Bonneville fender and making 6 new ones just so it will match a Grand Prix fender.

A simple brass spoon and a MIG welder fixes that and if you are a decent welder, no bondo needed. You are looking for a tough piece, don't turn it into a needle in a haystack.

Thank you for the reply. Understood, but I’m not a welder and would rather not have to fill and smooth 15 holes in a fender. Especially if I’m already paying $500 for a fender.

If I have to use a Catalina fender I will, but that’s why I posted this want ad. If there’s a way to find a GP fender, I would rather do that.

I have bought parts from Les before but didn't think of him for a used part. Does he sell used parts himself or are you thinking I should ask him for help on where to find a fender?

No luck with Les. He said he doesn't have any '64 Pontiac body parts left that are clean. I did see a couple names of people on his website that sell used Pontiac parts. I've e-mailed them and I'm crossing my fingers. I'll update if I receive any news.
