Default AFB with stuck secondaries - what do you like to get them loose?

Bought one that looked good, that is, until I got it home and realized the secondaries were stuck fast and no amount of PB Blaster was changing that outcome. #livenlearn.

Picked up another in a deal (a throw-in) from a '58 370, same issue. Ain't no budging 'em.

White vinegar? Coca Cola? Torch? Gotta be something that will get 'em open, can't believe the primaries are fine, and the second pair are frozen when they are made of the same material... know that some of the Medicine Men here must have an answer.

Thanks in advance

Steel to Aluminum corrosion like that is a tuff one.

I have used a liquid product call tap-out.

It’s a acid that will dissolve the steel corrosion, but not the aluminum.

You can also try a 50/50 mix of muric acid and water, but that will eat the Aluminum some.

The under rim toilet bowl cleaner, but do NOT walk away from it soaking, and forget it. Use for short period of time, only.

Set carb in pail of gasoline, no harm in this....

I take it apart as far as possible, then put it in an ELECTRIC toaster oven.

Evapo- rust will not attack any metal. Worth a try.
