Does anyone know the wire color or have a schematic of the reverse wiring in the trunk handy?

Thanks!

I looked in my 1973 manual which should be the same as 74 and it shows color 18 Lt Green as reverse lights. The black being the ground

Going from memory, having to straighten out T/A wiring that was hacked up, I recall the B/U lights were much lighter green insulation than the right turn signal. The easiest way is to test with a test light while having the right turn signal engaged it will blink. Likewise with engaging the B/U light switch. That's how I'd sort out which was which.....

The turn is working but nothing coming from the greenish wire.

The trouble must be upstream...

B/U lights are usually fused, then they go through the neutral safety/ B/U light combination switch, again going from memory, not a schematic.

Sometimes the neutral safety switch needs adjusted on the lower steering column.

Neutral safety definitely doesn't work... Sigh, typical monkey business
