Default prostar wheels and aftermarket front brakes

installed aerospace front brakes, work great, but need to use supplied spacer for wheel to clear caliper. Issue is the 1/2 studs supplied have 2" thread showing after spacer and prostar hub is 1.5" thick .
I've had these wheels for almost 20yrs. Is there a comparable rim out w/ a thinner hub. The prostar always seemed thick (street/strip rim).
thanks

Welds RT-S series wheel was designed for more caliper clearance....

Hope that helps

Not sure of your location but give Larry a hollar. Good guy and easy to work with.

S/st do you have an idea on backspacing. Offer 2.5 and 1.5. For 2nd gen. Car sits low was thinking 2.5 to tuck tire in a little too keep away from fender lip as car settles on launch.

I think they offer 2 diff back spacing for the the 15x4's I agree with you the more back space on the fronts to tuck the tire/wheel combo inside the looks good and serves better purpose for when the car "settles"

Either way I think those wheels look good no matter the back space....... Like I said if ya get a chance give Larry a hollar heck of a good guy!!!

When I bought my Alumastars,I went with the 2.5" backspace.

Looks good,and does`nt hit anything.
