Default Tail light circuit

My tail light circuit is giving me fits. I can't get power feeding them at all. I have 3 different light switches and none of them feed power to the tail light, dark green wire. I pulled one of the switches apart and it looks like the sliding contact from the tail lights only connects to the rheostat feed. Headlight circuit works fine. The only power supplied to my switch is the tan wire. Does anyone know how the switch connects power from connection 1 on the switch to connection 5? Or am I missing another way that power feeds the tail light circuit?
Thanks,

Figured out my problem. Found a correct switch that has a bridge from 1 to 4.

Does this detail show in the 1963 wiring diagram?

Although the 63 & 64 to 67 look alike, 63 has an unique switch output!
Attached is the differences in the two switches. John

Doug, the jumper is not shown in the schematic. I guess it was 3 64-67 switches I was trying. As soon as I found the 63 switch in my junk bin it all made sense. It was in bad shape but was able to use parts from 3 switches to make one good one. They are odd little cars for sure.

Hi Mike, yes it has been a long time. Hope all is well with you. I'm doing great and working diligently to finally have the car at Norwalk this year. Hope to see you there!
