Default Where to get wiper blades?

What are you guys doing for wiper blades? The local parts stores only have late model styles which are too tall and wouldn't look right. Thanks.

Cool

All of my A bodies have the original 16" Trico stainless blades. My local Car Quest can get the stainless framed rubber wiper refills. Cost is under $12 a pair.

Me! .

My old cars aren't just for weekends, nice days, or car shows...they're my transportation. So, I get to enjoy at least one of them every day, and they will occasionally get wet.

I have a 75 Sport Coupe for my daily driver since '02. 73 El Camino is my truck since the 90's. Newest cars I have are 79 TA's.

Have no need or desire for a late model vehicle.

73-77 EL Co's are cool. Used to have a '76 Elco Classic as daily driver company delivery vehicle back in the early 80's...that AND a short wheelbase 390 CID C6 auto F150 which was "fun" in the rain

I ordered the CARQUEST 750-160, but they won't work. Right length, but too wrong otherwise, being too big and wide to use in an original blade holder. They are Tricos, but says "heavy duty" on the package. The application for that number shows a truck. I'll be taking them back.

So, Rick, please double-check your number, since that one doesn't appear to be correct.

I was going by their website, since I threw my packaging away when I bought my last set. Your parts guy should be able to get you the right ones ordered...

A+ for effort and assist here...subscribed BC I may need same sometime in the future.

Reminder that more often than not part #s are superceeded, combined, compressed until they no longer fit any original designed application...especially on our beloved "low volume" sale items.

To follow up, I found some Trico refills at O'reilly's auto parts. Instead of having full length stainless backing, they have plastic backing with a stainless end for securing them to the blade holder. But, they're fresh, fit and work well, and were only $7 for the pair. Part #44-160.

I ended up using the #45-160 refills and reused my original cages. Maybe another option if the #44-160 isn't available. Paul~

So Trico refills at O'reilly's auto parts. So #44-160 or #45-160 then
