Default 70 GTO rag joint

Never looked into these before as I have the steering box out to replace pitman arm seals and figured Id replace the original rag joint. It had a couple of tiny looking cuts,,not bad but seems a good time for a new one. Never realized how many different applications there are. Tilt, manual steering ,power steering,Abody,F body etc. So my 70 has power steering, not tilt and is the variable ratio box. As far as I can research the OEM GM # is 7828871. Restoparts makes one G221524. Some reproductions are only splined 1/4 of the way around and the restoparts looks splined mostly all the way around. Trying to find the best one that actually fits. I could rebuild it but the metal is a little rusty and doesnt look the best.

Need to do a spline count but researching looks like its the 13/16" with 36 spline count
