Cool Finished some custom projects for the gto I did myself!!! Pics...

Well, I just got my autometer dash conversion for the 67 gto done, as well as a switch panel I custom fabricated out of some 16 gauge steel sheet to tuck inside the console glovebox.

I'm really porud of myself...I'm starting to become quite the fabricator

And yes...the dash and the switch panel were ALL HOMEMADE and fabricated by me with little help whatsoever!! The dash I DID need some help putting together, I have a family friend of mine who works in aerospace engineering..he helped me figure out the layout and get everything aligned properly...as well as the mounting for the backing, which is made out wood.

Even better yet...minus the gauges I'm only out about 150 bucks to fab up the panel and the dash itself. EVERYTHING I used to make both of them came from either the hardware store, radio shack (ALL of the switches minus the ignition start which I bought already pre-wired...I customized it though), or the hobby store....and it was all dirt cheap because it was all generic!!!

Woohoo...I feel like I could take on the whole care by myself now.

Enjoy...I'll let the pics do the talking.

P.S. I'm really proud of my 1.99 shift light from Radio Shack by the tach....I'm still am unsure how I'm going to make it functional yet, however. And the radio is fake...it's a dummy setup I literally had to destroy an old 67 AM radio to fab it up for the parts for the front.
