Seemed like a really great guy, was super generous in sharing info on what worked for him - he even offered to sell me some stuff- but I declined... the block was more than I could afford, and the "prepped" heads were not correct for my car...

I did try to keep in touch with him, I hope he went peacefully.
I do not know Truman personally, but just confirmed...................he is still alive!

Search you tube for quadrajet madness .. there is a guy trying to tune 4 quadrajets at once on his engine... Looks like possible to much reversion in his intake tract when under load

I believe you are correct.

When I last was speaking with Mr Fields, I believe he was only running his RAI car;
The car in the original video in this post, I believe to be his RAII car.

Pretty sure Truman sold off most of or all of the FB stuff and Pontiac parts. He had a good bit of it, including a nice selection of Ram Air carburetors from what I was told.

Todd Hoven ended up with one of the cars, and he is running the car and doing very well with it from what I've heard.

Brent Flynn would know more of the details as he races his Firebird in Stock Eliminator and would run into him more than I would......Cliff
