What have you found that works?????
Hey Guys:
I want to put a dummy plug, for lack of a better description, in the cigarette lighter receptacle that can easily take the stock lighter knob on my 67 GTO and be close to the correct position it would be if the lighter was used...........any ideas or has anybody done it successfully? Just taking the element out doesn't do the trick, as I have the Rochester type setup and the heat shield looks like it will be awfully close to the hot parts inside that the element usually clips onto when the lighter is pushed in. Thanks. Chemnick If somebody from Ames reads this and fabricates it and makes a million, I'm suing for half.....................................

Years ago I used a plastic NO SMOKING plug I "borrowed" from a rental car.
You can buy them as well. Now I just un-plugged the power lead and leave the OE lighter in-place.
