Default V pump return ?

Has anyone ever ran a return line to the pan from the bottom of your V pump catch can ?
Will it work or create some vicious circle of pulling too much oil out and running it back to the pan ?
My catch can will be located off my factory alternator/PS bracket on driver side.
I fabbed up something that bolts to the PS adjuster, curved part.
And I have a 1/8' bung right there on that side of my Steffs pan I could use as the return. I also could make something that bolts to mt mechanical fuel pump location pretty easily.
I have never seen this, might be a reason.
Thanks for any replies.

Don't do it. My catch can is a mix of moisture and oil..not what you want going back into the engine.

The oil caught in the catch can is nasty stuff. Full of moisture and other contaminants. Don't reuse that for any reason. You'll see what I'm talking about the first time you drain the catch can.

OK, V pumps are new to me.
Vicious circle theory was right.
