power seering brackets/alternator charging
I'm going to install my painted power steering bracket to my painted engine block tomorrow. Do I need to clean the paint off where it mounts and where the alternator case touches it to create continuity from the alternator to the block for proper charging?

No need to scrape paint. The bolts will provide a good electrical path to ground (the engine).
