The Year that the Keens beat Billy Glidden for the Super Street Championship, after the event at Indy where they made the announcement, Bob's son Billy was kind enough to invite the Keens and I to visit the Glidden Whiteland, Indiana Race Shop /farm where Bob and his family built so many Record Holders and Championship cars. No "outsider" ever got into that shop. Billy showed us everything.
RIP Mr Glidden and my condolences to Etta, Billy, Rusty, and the rest of the family. Tom Vaught
