Air temp, no. Wind chill, yes....

-29 air temp + 17 MPH wind = roughly -60 wind chill.

I'll trade you my -29 for your -37 if you take my wind...

-4* F air temp here this morning on my way to work in SE Michigan. Our governor announced a state of emergency yesterday going through tomorrow . Wind chills are supposed to go below-40*f. Even the post office won't be delivering mail for the next few days. Calling for rain and a warm up this weekend.

Just put my trash out. What's the problem for the trash guys? They drive up to my driveway, have the mechanical arm reach out and grab my trash cart, lift it up, dump it and set it back in place.

The driver never leaves the warm cozy cab...

What about me that had to roll the cart out to the street (about 200+ feet) in -31 air temp and -60 wind chill in my sleep pants???

Because we live in a subdivision the guys ride on the back of the truck, because they pick it up at the edge of the property. Gets pretty cold hanging onto that cold metal with the air whistling past you as the driver sits in that nice warm cab...………………...

My official thermometer says -19 here right now in Milwaukee. Supposed to be a high of -10 today. Kids are off of school for a 2nd day this week. First day was for the 10" of snow we got Monday.

4 above air temp this morning. I’m taking my 84 yr old uncle to the Social Security Office in Louisville this morning; I’m a little concerned about him staying warm since he does tend to develop pneumonia after exposure to the cold.
