Thanks Pontiac Dude Custom Cam
Thanks p-dude, finally got my car running after a year and what a ride! Ken speced out a custom hydraulic roller with a 112lsa, and engine is the most responsive I ever had. This was the Jim Butcher special cam, and cam pulls hard to 5800 with my 440 motor. Idles with just a hint of attitude, plugs are perfectly clean and really wakes up at 3500rpm. I am pulling 15" vacuum with plenty for power brakes.
I had many people tell me the hydraulic rollers do not rev, but mine does hard. Ken knows these hyd rollers and was right on the money with the correct puhrod length too. |

Greg-
Yes I pulled that motor and put in a 428 crank, I wanted a roadracer type car. Use the pro touring F body kit, ahndles like its on rails. The car ahs been completely restored, looks great. Motor runs very well, has a few carb tuning tweaks to do, but very streetable and pulls hard. |
