Repairing twisted bumper
After spending $200 on a used bumper, plus all the time the bodyman spent repairing it, and having the valance not line up at all, we found the bumper must have been hit. It looks like the drivers headlight area is pushed out 1/2" away from the fender edge and inwards toward the hood.
Is there any method to straighten these, or at least attempt to? Or will the rubber just crack and pull away? Thanks for any help this is frustrating. |

I learned the hard way with these endura nose's.You must fit them to the car first.this way all your bending and tweaking don't hurt your repair work on the nose.Meaning, once you try and straighten it out,you will put cracks in it.No matter how hard you try not to.Thats what I have run into.many gtos and now firebird noses. |

there are still enough available used to warrant finding another, versus whatever agony attempting to fix that one would be, and it probably will never be what you will be happy with, or if so it will be a 1000 buck nose after paying someone. Once that rubber gets deformed, I believe you are fighting "memory" of where it wants to be, and in addition, you will have cracks filled that have odds of reappearing.
