I installed the decals slightly lower than what you might be used to seeing, we felt it looked better with them lower, maybe an 1/8 " lower, not much at all really.

Still needs a new rear bumper, this is the old one and it's not adjusted, just bolted on for protecting the rear.

Starting on a 1963 vw bug in a couple weeks, getting a show quality restoration, it's pretty cool, has factory sliding rag with right hand drive, should be fun.

I have plenty of room here for whoever wants a restoration done.

Looks very nice. When my dad had his car painted the painter put the rear stripes on backwards. LOL

Car looks good, but had the same thoughts as LJ. From the angle of the picture the rear stripe looks like it might be backwards (wrong side). Hopefully just an optical illusion from the camera angle.

Must just be the angle , the trailing part of the stripe is pretty narrow just hard to see through the top protective paper. When I looked at the decals I figured the narrowest points should be rearward as if the car is moving fast stretching the decal appearance . I will double check Sunday but if it is backwards it's gonna stay that way lol. Driver side decal is not installed yet or passenger side door.

Thank you, much appreciated. We are getting down to the mechanics of the build now, engine, electrical and an all new interior. Not sure what engine will end up going in the car.

We have just about everything to build a new 455 but the block we have has been repaired on the pan rail, it was cracked. I advised the owner to get a different block but ultimately it's up to him.

Long term I know he wants a KRE. block with aluminum heads.

Quick update, decals are all installed. The rear quarter panel decals were correct, not backwards. Started to install miscellaneous parts. Put cowl rubber on and now the rear of hood sits too high, hinges look to be adjusted as far down as they can go, may have to slot the holes to get the hood to to lay even with the fenders. Will have new pictures this coming Sunday.
