What is the optimum zinc level for our flat tappet cam engines? 1200-1500ppm? I'm so overwhelmed with all the talk about Brad Penn vs Rotella vs....., that I'm still confused as to which is the best oil to use.
Though Brad Penn is not cheap, it sure seems to be rated pretty high by so many. |

I have been running Shell Rotell T 5W-40 synthetic in all of my vehicles. 1970 GTO, 1996 Gmc Suburban and 2005 Sierra 2500 hd Duramax. Good oil for a good price.
