Yeah, I agree , Mike has a very impressive car. Who does he use? Is it top secret? Ha ha..

I bet he could set me straight...
Last I knew it was Scott Brown... his name had escaped me when I did the last post. Damn I'm only 60!

don't know if this will help but I have a 68gto 3500lbs has 432 my heads flow 312 at 700 lift biggest thing I found and trust me I tried but you have to decide bottle or na I had a 9inch converter it was between nos and motor worked ok went 10.30 on motor 9.30 on 275hp shot but I wanted that single digit pass without bottle so my converter guy gave me a really good deal gave him my old converter that was from him gave me almost credit enough for new one so I got two one 8 inch built for na and a 9inch built all out for nos put in na conveter car picked up from 10.30 to 9.95 on motor have not tried the nos converter yet. I fought for 4 years trying to pick up a little more on motor just could not do it it was all in converter. hope this helps

I think you should be really close to 9.90 with that your almost 200lbs lighter then mine you have more cubic inch more head cfm I have little more lift mines 700 and im at 12.2 to 1 so just a little more compression I have 410 rear with 30 inch tall tire with 400 trans. It took a lot of track testing to get from the 10.30 to the 9.95 4 years and a lot of wasted money and no change even went from 430 to 373 gear and ran same number and mph thats when I changed converter and found the 9.95 ended up sticking with the 410 gear for spray. and its still spinning cant get it to hook on motor alone. you probably could use a little more cam.

Give scotty a call. But be honest with him about what you are really willing to do....otherwise you will end up short. Blueghost uses scott too.

Yeah, I was shooting for 10.00's And hoping for high 9's. But honestly I'm hoping I can get a cam that will set me down into the mid 9's.

You've done well with your car . I would be happy if I can drop 3-4 tenths like you did...

Thanks...

Of course I'll be honest... The one thing I'm hoping I can get away with is getting a less aggressive lob and still be able to make my gains... I do drive this car a lot . Some times i'll drive an hour each way when we go race... You have me real curious to see what Scott will come up with...

Thanks for the link....
