Exaust manifold swap
Hopefully I am in the correct forum. I have a newly rebuilt '66 389 4-barrell w/ a/c and power steering. I am putting it a 65 gto. I do not have the exaust manifolds that came with the 389. I do have a set from a 350ci '69 Tempest. They fit up to the 389 but only have 4 bolt holes per side. There are 6 per side on my 389 block. Will they work and not leak??
Thanks, michaelroy |

They'll fit the motor and should not leak, Pontiac used the 4 bolt style from 69 - 72. I am not sure if they will fit in the car, might have some clearance issues.

exaust man
Thanks Bob. That's good news as I have refurbished the manifolds and finding replacements seem like hard work.
