Default Dashboard Paint for 1964 GP

I am looking to paint the dashboard on my 64 GP. Color is black.
Was the paint on the dash from the factory Semi-Gloss?
Is there a particular paint brand anyone would recommend?

Thanks

Semi-gloss on the metal facing you and the stuff behind the dash pad is flat, maybe only 20% gloss.
