Default 65-66 rear coils "discontinued"

I contacted ESPO to quote some new rear springs for my son's 65 GP (stock and lowered with a stiffer spring rate). I got a reply that the manufacturer had discontinued them since they are unique to 65-66 Pontiacs.

This is a major bummer.

Try contacting Coil Springs Specialties in Kansas.

How much were they? ESPO always had a great price.

I'm not even sure but the prices from ESPO, Coil Springs Specialty, and Eaton aren't that different to make a difference. I could look it up if it matters.

What's VERY important is fit, quality, and policy to take them back if they're not right. Eaton passed with flying colors but I'm sure ESPO and CSS are also high quality.

ESPO was 30-50% less than everyone. I put a set of rear coils in my 65 Bonneville convertible 16 years ago and they are still fine and the price was great.
