Default Steering Column

Will a 63 floor shift steering column fit in a 61 Catalina? I'm putting in a 4 speed in my 61 Catalina and want to put in a floor shift column.
Merry Christmas

Most things in those years 61-62 are interchangeable, and 62-63.
What does your column bell look like? Might be possible to put a floor speed piece on your existing column. (I have an extra)

Not saying it won't fit, but there were significant changes between the 62 and 63 column. One is the turn signal switch. 61 and 62 are the same and mounted low on the column. Pretty sure 63-64 is in the more conventional location. As a unit replacement, it might still fit.
