Default Holley Carburetor Holiday Reunion.

Attended a Holley Carb Reunion at the Cloverleaf Restaurant tonight.

About 35 "Holley Old Timers" showed up for the get-together.

About the normal turn-out. But only three were people that I actually
worked with in my time at Holley Engineering.

The rest were people who hired in after I went to Ford Research & Engineering.

They were probably all Holley retirees "with 30 years in and then out".
I'm Getting Old.

But it was nice to see the 3 people I had worked with in the past at Holley Carburetor Engineering in Warren, Michigan.

I really doubt that a guy who was/is about 100 years old now would go to a "Holley Employee Get Together".

Also to the best of my knowledge, and others knowledge, Ralph Johnson worked with Smokey Yunick in Daytona Beach Florida for over 30 years, and not, (as assumed as a Holley Employee). He was a degreed engineer but not a Holley Employee.

Those group dinners are a good time. Shows the comradere then was well heeled to develop and make something exceptional.

Our lead Mil Payload director is 88 and wondering if our ole gang is meeting this Dec 30 again.
