have 74 462 with 6x-8 heads currently porting heads myself,want to mill block .025 and heads .050this will stick piston out of holeapprox .005 will this give me 9.9-1 c.r?

I think you will end up with over 10.5 comp, depends on the valve cuts on the pistons. It will be a nice head with the right cam, but you will need more than pump gas.

I just cced my 6X-8 of my roiginal 400 from my 78 TA 97.5. Maybe a little bigger than were thought to be. The 6X -4 are the smaller chambers.
