Tad lost his trailer (Borrow deal fell thru) So scratch his Red TA from the list.

We got Brian's car back together late last night... or was it this morning?? So his car will make the trip. Mike and I are still on board. We hope to be there sometime Friday afternoon....

Comments on the Event:

The guys working the burn-out box area were the best we've had the chance to work with. Top Notch!

Performance Years - picnic attendance surprisingly low key and hardly any people??

There where no Event T-Shirts ???

Where were the vendors & others? Butler, Pontiac Dude (Ken Keefer), Arnie Beswick, Geeto Tiger, etc...... This was a disappointment.

Swap Meet had some good stuff - but there where only a few guys selling stuff.

I thought it was one of the best years so far for a drag racer. I was there with "Shotgun" and his 80 Cutlass. It was the first time out this year and had to work out some bugs. They had a "Test and Tune" session prior to qualifying which was AWESOME! It gave us plenty of runs to figure things out. I hope they can continue to do that in the future. I think he had about 20 runs and could have easily done 10 more. He had so many runs he wore out his slicks! We wound up getting a set of used slicks(Saturday evening) and mounting them with Jagtech's trailer, a screwdriver, and alot help from our fellow racers. Great time. Thanks All Pontiac, PY, and VMP(among others) for a great weekend.

Ditto to Mo,s comments-I enjoyed the racing more than ever and that was due to the 3 days of 2 lanes of T&T as this was only the 3rd time out for me with my new engine combo and I was chomping at the bit to make some changes and try some things.Keep up the T&T along with the racing!!!!!!!!!Great fun.

X3... Having Test and Tune both in the morning and afternoon of an event like this is valuable. It allows people test, improve, or simply just go down the track each day.
