If you have to ask that question, it's obvious your car doesn't meet the safety spec for the ET/MPH you run, and as such you've got no business racing until it does. Meet the spec and there will never be any questions. Just my opinion.

I was told that because it's not a sanctioned race they will only look for the main items.
So cage if running quicker than 9.99, but not cert'd since IHRA does not require the cert.
You will have to be licensed to run 9.99 and quicker, etc.
But the standard stuff will be checked.

They won't let us in the gates until Friday at 12:00 noon.
I will be arriving Thursday night.

I just came back from the Little Guy Nats at VMP last week end. Tech was very thorough but not nit-picky. They checked everything that should be checked !!!!
Very well mannered officials...
I don't see tech happening on Thursday as gates are not open....the HPP shootout is not until Friday too.
I don't plan to get at gates until 9-10 AM Friday...I think due to size of expected racers gates/tech should open at least by 9AM !! JMO....
Sounds like we get to run with the local racers in the evening...which is cool.

Will be there. I main purpose is to tune the engine using VP113 race gas. I want this tune up for NHRA Hot Rod Reunion in June.

I will be trying VP113 as well next week. I'm curious to see how the car will react.

My game plan is to make a couple of passes just as she sits with 83 jets. I will check the air as compared to Little Guy Nationals weekend. I will then step the jets up to 84 with the 110 gas. Then will switch to the VP113. Then will go up to 85 jets as VP suggest and see what happens. I need to have some margin for that 9.75 index.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to get enough VP113 to test all weekend. I only have 5 gallons. I am hoping to get 10 more. Where are you getting yours??

Thanks

I'll be running my slow motor as the IA2 got hurt. Probably 10 teens. So, Richards got me for now. LOL!
