Pro Port E Heads
Edelbrock pro port victor heads, anyone using them?

Some years ago John Marcella build an engine using them. I believe it was a 481 ci and made over 1100 HP.

I haven't heard anything about them or even seen them on anything. I see they can flow 460 cfm.

Pro Ports were very rare at the time. Basically raw castings.
Marcella had the connections to have them Ported: His Way. Assume Marcella either did the work or oversaw the work to his specs. Agree, he made great power with a NA 481 engine. Tom V.

I see Butler offer them ( BES ported)

CORRECT and I think a CNC ported Head from Tony B/ Butler will be a very fine head.
