Default 65 GTO round port tri-y headers?

Does anyone make these and/or have them? Been reading about different header designs and kind of curious how they would do in my car. I read somewhere that four into one headers tend to do better with tighter lobe separation and make more power at higher RPM, and tri-y do better with wider lobe sep and make more power at lower RPM.

My 505 has the original OF cam which I think is on a 112, and I have the rev limiter set at 5500. So thinking maybe I can get a little more power where I need it and keep the rev limiter set where I won’t blow the engine up any time soon

Ken Crocie (HO Racing) should be able to comment on his Tri-Y Headers.

Where are you located Steve?

McCabe up the street from me (retired Nascar header fabricator) does custom headers for everything. Beautiful work but spendy $$

The 455 I have ion the stand when I dyno it will teat my Hooker 2", vs Hedman 1 3/4-1 7/8 and the Tribal Tubes Tri Ys. If I can ever get a freaking day off!

Roger Bollinger had the Tribals on his road race Trans Am in Germany.

I am in Spokane WA. Not really looking to spend big $, I was just curious whether anything is even available. I have plenty of other things to spend money on

Skip I'd love to see how that test turns out, please share whenever those results are available!
