I was curious what some of the quicker guys are running in the 1/8mi. I see the 1/4mi et's and but know 1/8mi et's. Is their anyone in the low 5's or kissing 4's in something other than a 2400lb race car or dragster? Thanks

Nice. How much n2o do you guys have to run to achieve those #'s? If you don't mind could you fill me in on your combos? If you guys don't like to share I'll understand. I am just trying to figure out if I want to convert to turbo or stick with n2o. I am wanting to get my 2900lb car to kiss 4's.

Well, don't laugh, my car is ugly,I had a valve cover leaking on my header causing it to smoke, and I lost because I shifted to late from second to third and the tranny wouldn't shift until it was to late. Ah give me a brake it was my second n20 pass with the new setup.lol

I'm sure you realize that to break into the 4's in the 1/8 is a 7.80-7.90 1/4 mile and at 2900lbs. thats pretty tough.
My car runs 5.50's in the 1/8 on all motor, but it's a 2400lb. car.

Yeah, I know it is going to be very tuff. That is why I am trying to see if anybody has done it so I can pick their brain.lol So far it looks like I am going to have to convert to turbo, becuase this n2o cars seem to have a tuffer time getting their. I think that it would be doable with n2o considering LJ and RC are both heavy cars and a 500+lb weight savings would probably get them in the low 5 range.

Its been a 9.54 on the motor. It was mainly built as a bracket car, but know I'm getting hooked on heads up and match racing.
So I'm going to make some changes and see if it will go a little faster on the juice, but it will slow up on the motor

The exhaust is 2" headers, 3.5 collector,3.5"pipe through Borla XR-1 race muffler. Its kinda quiet going down the track.
