I was wondering if i even need the back brakes on my car, it's a race only car, 2800lbs, runs 10.90's-11.00's @ 120mph....it has factory front disc and rear drum, but do the drum really do anything?...anyone only running front brakes?, i run a 4.5" wide tire in the front if that helps any....what's your suggestion?, thanks!

Been there, done that. Keep the rear brakes!!! If you go to a track sometime and something happens to a wheel cylinder on front, YOU ARE SCREWED! Keep the back brakes, plus they do more than you think.

Hard to stop a car in stones like at Norwalk without rear brakes. My friend Eric came close to hitting my GP last year pulling into the pits too fast
